1/16: Literacy night @ 6pm Please join the Literacy Committee for our annual Family Literacy Night on Thursday, January 18th from 5:30-7:00 PM. This year’s theme will be “Camp Out with a Good Book.” We will enjoy camping themed literacy activities that evening, including a session with the Great Neck Librarian and the VB Parks and Rec department. Parent Sessions will be focused on building literacy skills through games parents can create at home with their children. The PTA will be providing snacks for our students and their families.

Shamrock Final Mile is coming! Pep Rally’s are during PE with Leprechaun Bob☘ Go to shamrockmarathon.com to register your student. It is $20 until Jan 15th. Rates increase to $25 after that. Each registered student will also receive a unique LPES Final Mile t-shirt! Each classroom that reaches 100% participation will receive an ice cream party during their lunch break!
